One of our all-time favorite tests didn't come from a research deck. It came from a girlfriend.
She'd been a Be Golden customer for a while. One night she mentioned, half-complaining, that she wished she could see the jewelry on an actual person on the PLP. Her boyfriend works on our team. He brought it to the next standup.
A few sketches and a few lines of code later, the test was live: a toggle on category pages that swapped product shots for on-model shots. It became one of the highest-performing experiments we've ever run.
